VV-035: Toxicity vs. Nutrition
If you ask an average consumer, "Why do you pay more to buy organic (natural) food?" their answer will be uniform: "I want food without chemicals and pesticide toxins!"
The entire organic market is built on just one promise: "Minimizing Toxicity."
There is no disagreement that avoiding chemical toxins in food is extremely important. However, by making "reducing toxins" the sole criterion for food quality, the organic movement has hidden a massive, dangerous truth. That is: Nutritional Collapse in our food!
The human body has the capacity to tolerate and cope with low levels of chemical toxins. But nutritional deficiency can completely destroy our metabolism!
1. Low-Level Toxicity: How Does the Body Handle It?
The human body has evolved over thousands of years to survive natural toxins and harsh environments. For this reason, our bodies have special protective systems:
- Adipose Storage: When low levels of chemical toxins (fat-soluble toxins sprayed on crops) enter the body, our body isolates and stores them within fat tissues. This is a defensive measure by the body to prevent chemicals from mixing in the blood and affecting vital organs.
- Liver Detoxification: Enzymes in the liver (Glutathione, Cytochrome P450) continuously work to detoxify and eliminate low levels of toxins from the body.
Is chemical toxin good for the body? Certainly not! But if low levels of toxins enter the body, as long as our body has the enzymes and nutrients needed to eliminate that toxin, the body can cope and survive.
2. Micronutrient Deficiency: The Birthplace of Chronic Diseases!
However, when food lacks minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, our body cells face a severe biochemical crisis.
Our entire metabolism is driven by enzymes. For each enzyme to function properly, minerals like Zinc, Magnesium, Selenium, Copper (as cofactors) are essential. When we eat food grown in nutrient-depleted soil:
- Enzymes Get Disabled: If zinc and selenium are absent in food, the body cannot produce natural immune enzymes like 'Superoxide Dismutase' (SOD). This causes waste to accumulate within cells, damaging them.
- Cells Get Exhausted: Mitochondria, which produce energy within cells, require trace minerals to function. When these are lacking, cells become severely fatigued.
- Internal Inflammation (Metaflammation): This is not inflammation caused by injuries; it is the silent internal inflammation (Metaflammation) that arises within all cells of the body due to nutritional deficiency. This concept has been scientifically validated. Research refers to the inflammatory changes caused by micronutrient deficiency as 'Metaflammation'.
When this silent internal inflammation persists within the body for many years, it gives rise to the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) that threaten modern society: Type-2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attacks, liver damage, and nervous system disorders. Poor dietary habits and nutritional deficiencies have been identified as major causes for the rise of these diseases.
The impact of this nutritional deficiency is most severe during childhood. In any crop grown through chemical farming, these nutrients are present in extremely minuscule amounts. While we achieved self-sufficiency in production, we have severely lagged in nutrition.
3. The Blind Spot of the Organic Movement: "Toxin-Free Food" Is Not "Nutrient-Dense Food"!
Here lies a crucial truth that we must understand very carefully.
Organic farming is an excellent and commendable effort. By avoiding chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, it greatly contributes to long-term soil health, environmental protection, and reducing consumers' exposure to toxins. This cannot be denied or underestimated.
But this is where we must raise a fair, constructive question about the organic movement.
All current organic certification systems only monitor "what should not be used" (synthetic fertilizers, chemical pesticides). This is a very important safety criterion. However, this certification does not measure "what nutrients and in what quantity are present in the harvested food." "Today's research concludes that food's nutritional density is determined not by a certificate, but by how the soil is managed."
This creates a subtle but highly significant distinction:
A farmer can cultivate a crop without spraying any chemicals and obtain organic certification. That is certainly commendable. But if that soil has low biological activity and lacks zinc, selenium, or boron, then that crop will also have those same deficiencies. Because organic certification is only a guarantee of what is not in the soil, not a guarantee of what is in the food.
"What determines the nutritional quality of food is not the certificate; it's what happens in the fieldтАФhow the soil is managed, what the animals eat, whether biological systems are maintained or destroyed."
Redefining Real Food
Avoiding toxins in food is only the first stepтАФit prevents further damage to the body. But avoiding toxins alone cannot heal a cell, activate enzymes, or repair damaged metabolism. Only dense biological nutrition can do that!
This does not mean that organic is wrong or invalid. Rather, organic is a First StepтАФa very important, essential starting point. It provides a guarantee against toxins. But consumers must understand that it offers no guarantee regarding nutritional density. We must also understand that while organic produce often lacks nutritional density, it generally contains higher levels of nutrients and antioxidants compared to chemically farmed produce.
A Request: It is especially for children under 20 years of age that today's organic produce is most needed. Nutritional requirements are at their peak during growing years. Magnesium alone is essential for nearly 600 enzymes in the body. Without sufficient magnesium during growth, those enzymes won't function properly. Similar deficiencies of other minerals are a major issue for our children. The impact of this will only become visible in their 35-45 years of age. There is a strong possibility that today's natural farming methods provide slightly higher amounts of these nutrients compared to chemical farming. Before you decide which school your children should attend, what they should study, or which coaching class they should go to, ensure they receive food grown through good natural farming practices. This is your primary duty as a parent.

Only in a community with soil that provides all the nutrients needed for life can complete health be achieved. That health brings complete peace. That peace nurtures art that endures through time. From this, our proud heritage grew.
Regenerative Agriculture is what guarantees to bring back that same nutritional density to crops grown in that proud heritage soil. This Regenerative Agriculture is the real solution. It not only incorporates the principles of organic farming but also aims to improve soil health and revitalize the entire ecosystem.
