VIVA Pot Ash is a versatile, high-potency liquid potassium supplement designed to fuel the final stages of crop growth and development. Generally Potassium is the "quality nutrient," essential for sugar transport, enzyme activation, and regulating water within the plant. Derived from **Wood ash**, providing a traditional, silica-rich source of potassium. Enhanced with humic acid to improve uptake and molasses to feed soil biology. VIVA Pot Ash ensures your crops have the energy they need to develop dense grains, sweet fruits, and robust resistance to drought and disease.
Usage Instructions
* **Shake the bottle well** before use * For foliar application, mix with water first before adding to the spray tank. * It is compatible with most other VIVA inputs. * **Wood Ash is Alkaline:** Be cautious when mixing with acidic inputs; a jar test is recommended. * Apply during cooler parts of the day for best foliar absorption. ### **Application Guidelines** **Foliar Spray** * **Dilution Rate:** 3 – 5 ml per litre of water * **Recommended Volume per Acre:** 200 – 250 litres of diluted spray solution **Soil Drench / Drip Irrigation (Fertigation)** * **Dilution Rate:** 1 – 2 litres per acre, diluted in irrigation water * **Recommended Volume per Acre:** Apply with 500 – 1000 litres of water
Application Timing
Potassium demand skyrockets during reproductive and bulking stages. * **Pre-Flowering Stage:** Apply to build potassium reserves for the upcoming energy-intensive flowering and fruit set period. * **Fruit Development Stage (Critical):** **Apply every 10-15 days** during fruit bulking, tuber initiation, or grain filling. This is the most critical period for potassium application. * **Pre-Harvest (4-6 weeks before):** A final application can enhance final fruit quality and shelf life. * **During periods of drought stress:** A foliar application can help the plant better manage water.
