Detailed Description
VIVA Manganese is a **highly bioavailable, stabilized liquid manganese supplement** designed to correct a subtle yet yield-limiting micronutrient deficiency. Manganese is a central player in photosynthesis, specifically in the water-splitting complex part of Photosynthesis, and is a co-factor for over 35 different plant enzymes. Our formulation uses fulvic acid to chelate manganese, protecting it from oxidation and ensuring optimal uptake by the plant. By ensuring adequate manganese levels, VIVA Manganese supports efficient energy production, strong growth, and improves the plant's ability to utilize other nutrients like nitrogen and iron.
Usage Instructions
* **Shake the bottle well** before use. * For foliar application, mix with water first before adding to the spray tank. * It is highly compatible with other VIVA micronutrients, especially VIVA Zinc and VIVA Iron. * For best coverage, apply with VIVA Wetter (1 ml/L). * Avoid mixing with high-phosphorus solutions in a highly concentrated form; always dilute first. ### **Application Guidelines** **Foliar Spray** * **Dilution Rate:** 1 – 1.5 ml per litre of water * **Recommended Volume per Acre:** 200 – 250 litres of diluted spray solution **Soil Drench / Drip Irrigation (Fertigation)** * **Dilution Rate:** 300 – 400 ml per acre, diluted in irrigation water * **Recommended Volume per Acre:** Apply with 500 – 1000 litres of water
Application Timing
Manganese is most critical during rapid growth and reproductive stages. * **Early Vegetative Stage:** Apply at the 4-6 leaf stage to correct early deficiency and support canopy development. * **Tillering/Branching Stage:** Essential for supporting the high metabolic activity during this period of rapid growth. * **Pre-Flowering Stage:** Apply to ensure adequate manganese for pollen development and flower fertility. * **At First Sign of Deficiency:** Apply as soon as interveinal chlorosis on new leaves is observed.
