Detailed Description
VIVA Crop Shield is a powerful, traditional-style liquid sulfur solution crafted according to the principles of JADAM Organic Farming.
By reacting elemental sulfur with potassium hydroxide, we create a highly concentrated potassium polysulfide solution. This product is a cornerstone of natural disease and pest management, acting as a potent fungicide, miticide, and insecticide. It is designed for situations that demand immediate and strong intervention. A little goes a long way in controlling stubborn issues like powdery mildew, red spider mites, and thrips, while also providing a readily available source of sulfur and potassium to the plant.

Usage Instructions
• WEAR FULL PROTECTIVE GEAR (Gloves, Goggles, Mask) when handling the concentrate. It is highly alkaline and can cause severe burns.
• Always add the concentrate to water, never water to the concentrate, to prevent a violent reaction.
• Do not mix with any acidic inputs, oils (like neem oil), or other pesticides. Mixing with acids will release toxic hydrogen sulfide gas.
• Perform a phytotoxicity test on a small section of the crop before widespread application, especially in hot weather.
• Use a dedicated sprayer, as the solution can be corrosive to metal parts over time.
Application Guidelines
Preventative Spray (for diseases/pests)
• Dilution Rate: 1 ml per litre of water
• Instructions & Cautions: Apply every 10-15 days during high-risk periods (high humidity).
Curative Spray (active infestation)
• Dilution Rate: 2 – 3 ml per litre of water
• Instructions & Cautions: Apply at first sign of disease or pests. Repeat every 7-10 days if necessary.
As a Nutrient Supplement
• Dilution Rate: 0.5 – 1 ml per litre of water
• Instructions & Cautions: Can be used in fertigation or as a foliar to supply K and S.
Application Timing
• Dormant Season (for perennial crops): Can be used as a dormant spray to kill overwintering pest eggs and fungal spores.
• Early Vegetative Stage: Begin preventative sprays to build a protective layer.
• Pre-Flowering to Fruit Set: A critical period for preventing flower and fruit diseases.
• At the first sign of disease or pest outbreak: Apply the curative dose immediately.
• Avoid spraying during full bloom to protect pollinators, and during the heat of the day to avoid leaf burn.
