# About Our Journey

*“I didn't choose farming. Farming chose me.”*
This is the personal story of how New ViVa Bio Nutrients was born out of personal loss, failure, and ultimate scientific discovery.

## 📞 The News That Changed Everything
In January 2019, while working in a comfortable IT career in the UK, my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. I packed my life and returned home to Trichy, Tamil Nadu. My life changed upside down from that moment on.

## ❓ A Question with No Answer
My father never smoked, never drank, ate home-cooked food, and lived a simple, honest life. Why did he get cancer? 
I came to realize that **food quality** is the core culprit. The pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and depleted soils of modern industrial farming end up directly on our plates.

## 🌾 The Organic Farming Illusion
After my father passed away, I decided to dedicate myself to farming. I wanted to grow clean, toxic-free food. I started with organic farming—using cow dung, panchagavya, and botanical sprays. 

However, I failed. The yield was low, crops suffered from pests, and the quality was inconsistent. I discovered that simple organic inputs are not enough if the soil's mineral chemistry is broken and unbalanced.

## 🧪 The Science of Soil Balancing (Albrecht-Kinsey Model)
This led me to study soil science. I discovered the **Albrecht Soil Balancing Model** taught by **Neal Kinsey**. The model focuses on balancing the soil's chemistry (calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc.) first. When soil chemistry is balanced, soil physics (aeration and structure) improves, which allows soil biology (microbes) to thrive.

By balancing the soil chemistry first, my crop yield doubled, pest attacks virtually stopped, and plant health soared. 

## 🚀 The Launch of New ViVa
We started **New ViVa Bio Nutrients** to make scientific soil balancing and high-quality bio-inputs accessible to Indian farmers. We believe that regenerative agriculture is the only way forward for food security, human health, and farm profitability.
